It was an amazing, and very busy to Nepal, and there wasn't time for as much blogging as I hoped. Here are some photo albums with captions to provide a photo blog of the other things we did.
We also had lots of fun in Tansen too – you can see what we were up to in addition to eating at a traditional restaurant here.
We then went to Pokhara, to Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, and spent a week doing more teaching and hands-on treatment sessions with staff there. Pictures of our work (and fun) in Pokhara can be found here.
We finished up the formal part of our trip with a two day National Rehabilitation conference at the Spinal Injury Rehab Centre in Kathmandu. This was attended by over 80 participants from across the country, many different organizations, and across the spectrum of rehabilitation professions, from doctors to therapists to nurses to community workers. We did a day of formal teaching sessions, and one day of hands on workshops. Pictures from the conference can be found here.
